Legends Dappled Rocking Horses

Legends dappled (and all painted rocking horses), are individually hand-carved in poplar with beech legs for added strength and are available in a variety of styles and finishes.

Each rocking horse is commission-made so you can choose the style of dappling, colouration of horse, colours of manes and tails, tack and saddle blankets. The rocking horse can even be finished as your own horse.

They are available on bows or safety-stands which are made from plantation grown oak. These can be stained, polished or painted to any colour you choose.

We also offer brass plaques, time capsules, realistic detachable or fixed bridles and saddles. Additional options include carving details such as ribs and veins in the face.

  • A  light finish with black traditional dappling
  • Red saddle blanket with gold trim, tan leather, fixed saddle and detachable bridle and mid grey/brown mane and tail.

  • A cream–coloured horse with a contemporary natural dapple finish.
  • Detachable havanna tack with cream “fleece” numnah.
  • On a dark oak safety-stand.

  • A cream–coloured horse with a more traditional dark brown dappling.
  • Dark green saddle blanket, detachable tack, cream “fleece” numnah and dark oak safety-stand or
